Life Coach In Cape Town, Southern Suburbs, Rondebosch

I’ve gained over a decade of experience as a Senior Psychometrist and Life Coach. I started out working for a Neuropsychologist where I was the Assessment and Marketing Manager from 2012 to 2017 in my capacity as a Registered Psychometrist. I then pursued my Coaching qualification in 2017. In 2018 I opened up my own independent practice. From my private practice in the Southern Suburbs of Rondebosch, Cape Town, I consult with adolescents and adults from various backgrounds who present with diverse difficulties. I also see clients online for Life Coaching and Career Assessments. As both a Registered Psychometrist and Integral Life Coach, I can offer my clients a diverse range of services that are comprehensive and complimentary.

I utilize specialist local and international psychometric assessments, to provide personal insight and to instigate a process and dialogue of discovery with my clients. Using the principals of Positive Psychology with the techniques of Integral Coaching, I help my clients develop methods they can apply during difficult times for the rest of their lives. Psychometric Assessments provide self-insights and answer many questions. With this new self-awareness, Coaching can gain traction and momentum. Learning barriers can be identified and appropriate strategies and personal self-concept enhancement will allow adolescents and adults to be the best they can be.

My clients range from adolescents and adults and I am fluent in both English and Afrikaans. I see clients for Psychometric Assessments, Life Coaching and Parental Guidance.

Within my private practice in Rondebosch, I partner up with Clinical Psychologist to do concession assessments to help students apply for accommodations during tests and examinations. I also lecture at the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP). I have been a lecturer at SACAP since 2018 and I have lectured a number of different modules, however, I now specialise in teaching Psychometric Assessments to post-graduate students.

I am a registered Psychometrist (PMT 0088315) with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) since 2012. I obtained my Psychology & Honours degrees through Stellenbosch University and UNISA. I then did my formal internship in Practical Psychometry at the Centre for Psychological Services and Career Development (PsyCad) at the University of Johannesburg. I also completed my Associate Certified Coaching (ACC) program as an Integral Coach (Registered with COMENSA) through the University of Cape Town. While studying, I was involved with various community service initiatives where I worked with children and families from various backgrounds dealing with psycho-social difficulties. During 2011, I was also involved with Anti-Poaching, protecting Africa's wildlife, especially our rhinos from poachers. I have also recently joined the Wilderness Search and Rescue Team as a Technical Rescue Volunteer. These experiences and my knowledge in Psychology contributes to the work I do with my clients.
